Welcome to the Homestead!

Hello. For those of you who don't already know me, I'm DM (aka Doodlebug's Mommy). I also blog at Doodlebug's Planet, but honestly I wrote myself into a corner by ONLY talking about environmental issues. This blog is about my life. My husband, daughter and I just recently moved to the perfect little house in town, and I am very excited to have my very own "suburban homestead." We'll talk about simplicity, homemaking, food, frugality, and honestly, whatever I feel like talking about that day.
